Well 2 years & 6 months after my install I have some color & I am so happy. My colorist was so great. She understood what I wanted & explain to me what I could have safely to protected my locs. She trimmed my locs gave me some shape and I can't stop looking.

10 year anniversary cruise

These are my locs blowing in the ocean breeze. My husband and I were on this cruise for our 10 year anniversary & we were enjoying ourselves. My locs were doing real well & the humidity was great for them. I took my lock loops but I never used them b/c I was just free style all the time. I spritzed my hair with water in the morning and that was it. When I got home 8 days later I washed & re-tighten my hair.

This another view of my updo. I am going to do better about blogging.

This is my updo with cascade of soft curls on 1 side. I used lock loops and non-alcoholic aloe vera gel. I purchase at Walgreens 2 for $5.00. It leaves my hair shiny and the curls last even after I work out.

TWO YEAR ANNIVERSARY

Hey! I almost forgot that my 2 year anniversary was August 22, 2009. I guess I am enjoying my locks so much I was just moving. I am still wanting color but afraid because I have seen so locks with color in bad shape. I have worked up my pace in doing my locks. I finished in 8 hours and that is good for me. I have been working out 3 days a week and my locks have been the bomb I have no complaints. It is growning like weeds and that ain't quite working with the menopense but I hanging.

The 4 Legged Baby, Baxter

Ok, time for me to write about my new baby, well he's 3 years old. I got my baby shortly after my son went to live with his father. I guess I was feeling empty and needed a baby to handle my empty nest syndrome. Well this is Baxter and please believe that he is like having a baby without needing daycare.

He really is a sweetheart and my husband, who did not want a dog, is crazy about him. Now is just part of the family we don't know what we would do without him. He fit's right in and knows that he is the baby and no one is suppose to be here with him but my husband and I. It's cute.
